Hello everyone. As a new owner who never had a SUV with separate Low/High gear selector shift before (previous car was a X5) I have a questions when I practically should use this manual selector. I see a manual to be confusing.
My question arised when I put manual level in 'N' thinking that it is a regular position and had my transmission selector set in 'P' parking and found that a car is actually moving downhill as it would be in neutral. Thanks got I didn't hit another car parked in front of me. SO, it appears that manual selector should stay in 'H' high in regular driving.
If I put manual selector to 'L' low, what is the point of using transmission '4', '3', '2' and 'L'. Also how that button for 50/50 affects driving in those modes?
