I have an '03 GX 470 that has been experiencing problems with the thumping that has been detailed in other members posts. The selling dealer said it was normal and I just was not experienced with 4-wheel drive vehicles. Another dealer replaced the front drive shaft and the throttle body. The problem returned within 500 miles. Now, the car lunges forward even with my foot on the brake which is a saftey issue. I have requested that Lexus buy the car back or swap me into an '04. Has anyone had any luck with having their '03 GX 470 bought back or being placed into an '04? Also, has anyone experience the sunroof partially closing when you brake and turn?

What did the dealer say when you asked them to buy it back?
