I tried to hook up my ipod touch 2G thru the AUX, I am using this cable 4ft iPod Dock Connector to 3.5mm Cable
I am not hearing any sound coming out of the GX470.

Does anyone has used that before, do I need to change some settings on the ipod touch itself

Caution about the cable you are trying to use...if it is not designed for the iPod touch, it may not be going into the receptacle all of the way to make connection properly. Apple uses a very small diameter outer casing on their connectors to seat fully in the Touch or the iPhone. It feels like it is going in right, but it doesn't connect.

It looks like it sits well on the dock of the ipod.

Do you have another device you can try and plug it into like a Bose wave radio AUX port to see if it works with that device...?
