I am looking at installing this flip-down DVD player in the back, I currently have just the overhead door light piece there. Any ideas if I buy the unit and then get a $149-$199 install card from WalMart or BestBuy and take this DVD in to the shop -- will it be an easy process?

Never done an aftermarket overhead DVD player before, so any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

I have just installed an aftermarket overhead DVD player. Yeah it goes in place of the door light. I would not try to do it myself since you need to open up the door side panels and run wiring through etc. I paid $150 to a tech and he did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend him if you are in the DC area. The dvd unit I got is from the internet since I got a great deal on it. Its a clarion 10" screen. I would recommend a top brand like Clarion or Sony don't buy a no-name made in China model.

At the same time, how expensive would it be to install a factory DVD screen integrated into the NAV screen?
