Just open the glove compartment and bend (it is flexible plastic) the 2 sides inward while pulling down. This will pull the compartment down, and if you look straight inside you will see the white air filter. Just pull it straight out and replace or vacuum it.
This instruction is also in the Vehicle Manual.
