I didnt find any refs for this, but was told by the local audio shop it would work. It costs 1k. They pull your board and send it to the company. one a/v input.

It costs around $600 actually (which is a huge OVERPRICE) and you should not have to send in anything... what exactly are you trying to accomplish? Add video input to a NON-RSES vehicle? if that is the case you need to get a composite (or component ) to RGB converter and splice into your factory harness which can be accomplished for under $200... (something like http://cgi.ebay.com/Audio-Authority-9A65-C...1QQcmdZViewItem )
people have done it... there is a very good discussion on this on 4runner forums actually... there is also Vaistech.com but their products are being redisgned and won't be available for a wee bit longer... ask around the forums, people have done that... if you have RSES then you already have the extra video input in your center console....

as far as how to hook something like that up you will need to splice into the cable going from the NAV system to the displya unit (its easily accessible by the NAV under passanger seat) and then right a switch that will switch RGB video from NAV to the RGB Video coming from the COMPONENT-TO_RGB Converter.. its a metter of wiring a relay/switch and a bunch of wires coming from NAV and the converter... I will find the link from 4runner forums as people have wired that w/o a problem.
