What's the purpose of the rear spoiler on the GX470? Is it possible or desirable to remove the spoiler? Thanks!

Main purpose is to use air flow to keep the rear window cleaner (from rain/snow). Don't know why you would want to remove it...you would have to rewire the third brake light.
