just got the truck, and can't seem to get the dvd player to play the sound over the radio....my children are too small to wear the headphones....called the dealership twice, and both times their info was wrong.

did you check all the settings and make sure it wasnt muted?also the reason im replying is because i did hear something about sound not coming on while driving because its a distraction to the driver and its a saftey thing.did it work fine before?i know some aftermarket systems have that saftey feature but i think its the screen that blinks off while driving not the sound.try it when the car is parked and the key just in the on position but first check all settings.hope somehow this helps.

Have you tried hitting the DISC button on the radio? If you had a CD loaded it wil say CD. Press it again-the second time, it should say AUX. This will enable the DVD to play on the radio. If it does not and you have tried this already, I am not sure what to tell you.

you have to push the DISK button twice in the front dash.
