Anyone here know the hack to get the nav screen to show the videos when needed? I wouldn't want it all the time, but some times the passenger might want to see the video also, and it helps when our 2 year old is screaming that the OK button needs to be pressed or something...

The DVD can be seen on the front monitor only when the GX is in park AND the parking brake is set (the hand brake). Once you do that, the "Picture" button is usable when you are on the Audio screen.

Worked great. I will say that you need to remove the first piece from the end not near the wood. I put in a switch that works the ground and the speed sensor, so it goes back to stock.

Interesting. Since the whole thing is "shortcircuited" when the handbrake is raised, I thought that a much simpler fix would be hardwiring the wire that "reads" the handbrake being raised. Thanks.
